Terms and Conditions

Last updated 4 July 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of the digital deliverables Grimoire provides. By placing an order, you agree to them, so please take a moment to read them before you buy.

About Grimoire

Grimoire ("we", "us", "our") produces and delivers digital deliverables — including websites, positioning and messaging materials, brand direction, and related client-facing assets — for independent professionals. Grimoire operates from within the DACH region. You can reach us at hello@grimoireco.com.

What you're buying

Each Grimoire package is a fixed-scope digital deliverable, not an ongoing service or retainer. The specific inclusions, delivery window, and number of revision rounds for each package are described on our website at the time of purchase and form part of these terms.

Anything outside the stated scope of your chosen package is available as a separate paid addition and is never assumed to be included.

Payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and payable in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment is complete and you have received a confirmation email. Any taxes, duties, or bank charges that apply in your own jurisdiction are your responsibility.

Your brief and responsibilities

After payment you'll receive a short brief to complete. Timely, accurate, and complete information is what allows us to build precisely for you, so you agree to:

Delivery timelines begin once we have received a complete brief and all required assets. Delays in providing these will extend the delivery window accordingly.

Delivery

We aim to deliver within the timeframe stated for your package — typically 48 to 72 hours from receipt of a complete brief. If we ever anticipate a delay, we'll let you know directly. Delivery is made electronically, to the email address associated with your order.

Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds specified at purchase. A revision round covers reasonable adjustments within the original scope. Requests that expand the scope, change the agreed direction substantially, or go beyond your included rounds may be quoted as separate paid work.

Intellectual property

Once your order is paid in full, ownership of the final delivered assets transfers to you, for use in your practice. We retain the right to display non-confidential examples of completed work as portfolio and case-study material, unless you ask us not to in writing. Any third-party tools, fonts, libraries, or platforms used remain subject to their own licences.

Refunds and cancellations

Because every deliverable is custom digital work produced specifically for you, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. If you haven't yet submitted your brief and production hasn't started, contact us at hello@grimoireco.com and we'll consider your request in good faith. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our deliverables for any unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purpose. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue work where the intended use is illegal, deceptive, or otherwise incompatible with these terms.

Our responsibility to you

We provide our deliverables with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of goodwill, and we don't guarantee any specific commercial outcome from the use of our deliverables.

Third-party platforms

Deliverables may rely on third-party platforms and services — for example, hosting, domain, and payment providers. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of those third parties, whose own terms apply to your use of them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that order, and the current version is always available on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Grimoire's place of establishment within the DACH region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
